Lone Sterner Nordam 

Lone Sterner Nordam was the first designer to be given a full-time position at Hammel Furniture, and she therefore had a strong and positive influence on Hammel’s continued collaboration with designers. Before her far too premature death, she was deeply involved in the development of the Mistral series – Hammel’s timeless classic. Lone’s displayed a very solution-oriented approach to design at Hammel Furniture, and her designs were characterised by their strong focus on detail from idea to finished product.

Lone Sterner Nordam’s considerable human qualities and musicality live on in her designs, which are known for their symmetry, simplicity and straight lines. The result is beautiful, simple and user-friendly furniture.
